Charities We Support

As part of our Catholic ethos, children support many different charities through prayer, positive action and fundraising activities.

Fundraising News

2021-

Charity Fundraising

Thank you to all of our parents who have supported our Charity

fundraising efforts this term.

We raised over £230 for our Poppy appeal (which was the best in region!) and over £270 for Children in Need.

Thank you for your continued

generosity!

As part of our Lenten fund raising we are supporting the CAFOD "Water Droplet" project which is helping communities, like the Afar region of Ethiopia have access to clean water. It is one of the hottest places on Earth. Water is scarce, and families have to make a five-hour round trip twice a day so that everyone has enough to wash with and to drink.

On Friday 26th February, CAFOD's Family Fast Day, a traditional day in the Lent season to think of others and to do what we can to help, the children wore blue clothes for a donation to CAFOD. We raised £118.81.

2020-

On Wednesday 16th December the whole school took part in the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day, and together we raised just over £200.

2019-

We have recently had a few fundraising events at school and we would like to share the outcomes of our endeavours.  Last Friday was Children In Need and children came to school dressed in their finest spots and stripes, which raised £222.87. Mrs Chalklin and her Mini Vinnies raised £85 by selling Hot Chocolate and the PTA raised £72.50 In their Cake and Coffee morning. Well done to everyone for their efforts and thank you to everyone who supported these events.

In March 2017 Our Lenten Activities morning raised £548.09 for Epilepsy Action.

In October 2017 the whole school joined together in a Day of Many Colours to pray the Rosary and raise funds for children in need across the world.
